3. Domhnall Gleeson As Ben Skywalker - Luke's Skywalker's Son
We've talked a lot about Han and Leia's offspring, but what about Luke's? In a galaxy post Palpatine / Order 66, the Jedi can't afford to be their old stoic, celibate selves. Perhaps Mara Jade or another woman captured Luke Skywalker's heart after the events of Jedi and together they had a son; the next Skywalker, Like Adam Driver's character, Domhall Gleason's character could be another of Luke's successes; a new breed of Jedi knight. Gleason could play a mentor role to his cousin Jaina and her friend and be one of the few people Luke trusts more than anyone to investigate potential threats to his sister's republic and maintain peace to the galaxy. But what if Gleeson and Driver's Jedi are friends? What would Driver's turn to the dark side do to that friendship? Expect an epic power struggle with Luke and his son at his side against Driver's new Sith warriors. Gleeson could continue his father's legacy as the trilogy continues.
