Star Wars: 7 Ways That Palpatine Could Return For Rise Of Skywalker

Here’s an interesting thing. The only time in the entire Star Wars saga that the words “rise” and “Skywalker” have ever been associated with one another before this was in Revenge of the Sith, when Palpatine officially christened Anakin as Darth Vader.

And in that film, Anakin’s central conflict revolved around longing to save Padme’s life, something which Palpatine explicitly tempted him with by promising him he could teach him how to use the Force to defeat even death.

Thus, in keeping with the Skywalker name, as well as both the narrative and thematic potential the return of Palpatine could bring, it would be ridiculously interesting to see Kylo Ren finally "truly finish what his grandfather started" and learn how to “influence the midichlorians to create life”, using it to bring Palpatine back from the dead.
