6. Is He In The Resistance?
One of the possible explanations for as to where Lando has been is that he's actually been in the Resistance this whole time.
At one point during The Last Jedi, Leia makes reference to having Resistance 'factions in the Outer Rim'. Later, during the finale on Crait this is implied to simply mean allies of the Resistance, but could Lando be a leader in the Resistance already?
Lando Calrissian is a fast moving guy, going from smuggler to Baron Administrator of Cloud City to a general in the Rebel Alliance, all within a very short span of time. Considering that fellow Rebel Alliance higher-ups like Admiral Ackbar, Nien Nunb, and Leia Organa were all involved in the early stages of the Resistance, it's possible that Lando was too.
If so, was he leading some sort of mission in the Outer Rim during the events of Force Awakens and Last Jedi, as hinted at by Leia, herself?
