Star Wars Episode 7: 10 Things To Expect From JJ Abrams

6. He'll Hire Michael Giacchino To Compose The Score

url-1

Michael Giacchino is to J.J. Abrams what John Williams is to Steven Spielberg. That's to say, they're a super close-knit team who have collaborated on almost every one of their projects thus far. Given that the man who created the iconic Star Wars theme all the back in '77 is 81-years-old nowadays, it's likely that our good friend John Williams will pass up the challenge this time 'round - the man has composed the music for 6 Star Wars movies already... give him a break, you know? It's highly plausible, then, that Abrams will get his pal Michael to interprete the score for this entry. And in my opinion, after Williams, Giacchino is the next best choice: he seems to outdo himself time after time.
