Star Wars Episode 7: Guessing The Title

Theory 2

image So we know how many words there will be in the titles but what about the actual words themselves? How can we know what they will be? But again each part in both of the previous trilogies follows the same patterns. For the first chapter in both trilogies, a more open, mysterious title is used. A New Hope. A hope for what? Is the new hope a person? A plan? It intrigues us and draws us in. The same goes with The Phantom Menace. Who is this menace? What makes him a menace. We get relatively little information from these titles. Whereas the second chapters in both trilogies have a more descriptive title. One that tells us what is going to happen in the film. In The Empire Strikes Back that's exactly what happens. Almost straight away we see the Empire retaliate against the Rebel Alliance for the destruction of the Death Star, by destroying their base on Hoth. And in Attack Of The Clones the Republic creates an army of clones and guess what, they attack the Geonosians and go on to begin the Clone Wars. And the final part of each trilogy the both basically tell you what's going to happen at the end. The Sith get their revenge on the galaxy and execute their plan of destroying the Jedi and placing themselves in charge as total rulers in Revenge Of The Sith. Whilst In Return Of The Jedi, well the Jedi return by killing the Sith and removing them from total power. See this is easy.
