9. What's Next For Finn?

Of the new band of heroes, it's Finn whose arc is the least clear heading into Episode IX. Rey is on the path to becoming a Jedi, and Poe Dameron is in place to lead the Resistance, so where does that leave Finn?

He's found his place within the Resistance and largely seems to have reconciled himself with his past, especially after beating Captain Phasma, and there's a romance angle to potentially explore with Rose, but there isn't an obvious direction for him to go in here.

More of his backstory could be one option, although there isn't too much time to tell the story, which could help connect back to the First Order and how evil they are, helping the final push for Resistance.
