10. How Will Leia Be Involved?

While it had appeared as though Lucasfilm had ruled out Carrie Fisher being in the movie, the casting announcement reveals that the late actress will appear thanks to some previously unseen footage from The Force Awakens.

It's a huge decision, and one that suggests Leia has a very important role in the movie the meant she absolutely had to be in there, but what will that be?

Episode IX was supposed to be Fisher's movie, in the way VII was Harrison Ford's and VIII Mark Hamill's, but it remains to be seen just how much footage there is and how it can be used. Hopefully it provides a fitting send-off, and either way, it's going to be emotional to see Leia in action one last time.
