The Millenium Falcon: Smuggler's Run ride doesn't just sport an awesome line queue, it also apparently has the goods to back it up. The ride will not only allow guests to take a ride aboard the iconic ship, but it will also let them pilot it.

This may sounds kind of insane, and it is, but thanks to some revolutionary implementation of new and old Disney-tech, riders will be able to actually control the Falcon throughout the ride. Each cockpit will feature a total of six crew members (guests), each of whom will have a specific job: two gunners, two pilots, and two flight engineers.

In theory, this isn't all that different from the kind of interactivity Disney has incorporated into previous rides like Mission: Space at Epcot. In execution, this is a whole different ballpark. Riders can more-or-less ignore their duties on Mission: Space and the ride's narrative remains exactly the same. However, on Smuggler's Run, the guest's involvement plays a huge role in the actual narrative of the ride. Whether or not the crew members adequately perform their jobs will influence the ride itself.
