Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge - 10 Big Reveals About Disney's Upcoming Land
4. It Serves Clasically In-Universe Food And Drinks
One of the most unique aspects of Galaxy's Edge is that for the very first time, Disney's Imagineers had to define the taste, smell, and texture of the foods within the world of Star Wars.
The park will feature a total of five vendors for food and drink, ranging from full-service restaurants to mere food stands. There is Oga's Cantina, Milk Stand, Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo, Kat Saka's Kettle, and Ronto Roasters.
Each of these establishments serves entirely different items, all with their own various mythology and narratives to go with them. For instance, the Milk Stand serves both the classic blue milk as seen in the original 1977 film on Tatooine and the newer addition of the green thala-siren milk from The Last Jedi. In Ronto Roasters, you can dine on the cooked flesh of a freshly caught ronto (the long-necked creature spotted in the re-release of a New Hope on Tatooine) that has been roasted over a converted podracing engine. At Docking Bay 7, you can even eat various forms of Tip-Yip, which is the equivalent of chicken on Endor.
Needless to say, all of the food and beverage served in Galaxy's Edge is completely in keeping with the Star Wars universe.
