Star Wars - Han Solo Shortlist Of Actors Ranked

6. Dave Franco

Seen In: 21 Jump Street, Now You See Me, Neighbors, Warm Bodies Why He'd Be Great As Solo: Although Franco might be a little too 'dude-bro' for the role of Han Solo, his easy, relaxed vibe could be exactly what the directors are looking for. On paper, at least, his general personality translates well to everybody's favourite smuggler. Considering the directors of the Jump Street movies (not to mention The Lego Movie) are at the helm, the Han Solo spinoff can probably be expected to have a major funny bone - for which the youngest Franco is a solid fit, having cut his teeth on a number of fair-to-middling comedy projects in recent years. Say what you will about Scrubs season 9, but Dave Franco's Cole was arguably the funniest part of it. What Are His Chances: Not too bad, considering the fact that he's worked with Miller and Lord before on the Jump Street flicks - it pays to have existing relationships in this business, after all. He's got the comedy chops, and action experience from Now You See Me, but he might be just a little too smarmy for the role.
