Star Wars: The Force Awakens - 10 Minor Characters We Desperately Need To See More Of

9. PZ-C40

There are a lot of very interesting looking characters and familiar faces in the Resistance Base, but by far one of the most unique is PZ-C40. Despite being little more than a glorified extra in The Force Awakens, prequel novel "Moving Target" reveals that this female (yes, female) droid has a close relationship with General Leia. That stemmed from her belief that it was essential to chronicle the events of the General's life due to the story having the potential to inspire others and thereby help in the battle against The First Order. While writing Leia's memories, she earned the affectionate nickname Peazy. With all of that in mind, seeing these two characters finally share the screen in Rian Johnson's Episode VIII would be a cool moment for fans who keep up with all the tie-in materials, and would actually make a refreshing change from watching Leia interacting with familiar faces like R2-D2 and C-3PO. A female droid is also something which is a lot different to what we're used to seeing in these movies and, as she has an action figure, don't be surprised to see more of her come 2017 if that's sold well!
