7. The Rebels Defeat The First Order And Wipe Out What's Left Of The Empire
This ending theory sort of ties into entry 10 where the Starkiller Base is destroyed and all the main characters get medals to commemorate their bravery. But what if the Rebels did more than just destroy Starkiller Base? What if the Rebels decided to leave no prisoners and managed to destroy all remnants of the First Order and the Galactic Empire? The Galactic Empire has always been a presence throughout each of the previous six films. But having learned their mistakes after letting the Galactic Empire linger around for too long, the Rebels decide to do a more thorough job this time around. By getting rid of the First Order and Galactic Empire completely, this not only finishes the Galactic Empire storyline but it also gives the filmmakers freedom to inject more life into Star Wars by introducing new antagonistic forces who weren't based on Palpatine's shenanigans. Admittedly, this theory is a bit of a stretch but until the film is released and the real ending is finally shown, anything could happen, including the next entry..
