18. Ello Nasty

When Poe Dameron leads his squadrons in a final assault on the Starkiller base, we're introduced to a number of his fellow pilots, including the alien fellow above, who was announced before release as being called Ello Nasty. He's named after a Beastie Boys album, which should come as no surprise to Abrams fans, since he has a thing for dropping in their music (see also Star Trek). Nasty also has "Born to Ill" in Aurebesh lettering across his helmet: which is of course a reference to the name of another Beastie Boys album: License To Ill.
