6. The Moment Rey Acquires BB-8
The EW feature promises to answer "From whom (or what) does Daisy Ridleys character Rey rescue the ball-droid BB-8 amid the desolate sands of Jakku." That they put such stock on that reveal suggests its someone important we already know (given that - semi-spoiler - the droid was seen in Poe Dameron's X-Wing in the leaked LEGO set, Oscar Isaac's character would seem like a safe bet), but this image suggests otherwise. It shows Daisy Ridley in the real desert freeing a real BB-8 from a real net attached to a real armoured steed thing mounted by a real alien. Aside from this all being real (can't get over how awesome that is), this suggests that the rollerball droid (who, as if it needs to be said again, can really roll) who accompanies Rey and Finn on their journey is first found here, shortly before their adventure kicks into motion. It must be said that he looks pretty clean for something out on the desert planet of Jakku, which suggests that he may be a rather new droid design.
