Star Wars: The Force Awakens - 8 Scenes The Movie Desperately Needed

4. Hux Rescues Kylo Ren

Towards the end of The Force Awakens, after Rey and Kylo Ren have their climatic lightsaber battle in the woods outside Starkiller Base, Supreme Leader Snoke tells General Hux to go and find Kylo Ren so he can be brought to Snoke to "complete his training." Meanwhile, Starkiller Base is minutes away from being blown to smithereens. Thing is, General Hux doesn't know that Ren is out there in the woods, wounded and on the brink of death; he thinks he's hanging around Starkiller Base. The movie doesn't show how Hux ends up finding Ren, either - you just assume that he does because... well, because fans already knows that Kylo Ren is set to be in the next Star Wars movie. A tiny scene, however, showing how Hux manages to find Ren (maybe Hux flies over in a ship and spots Ren because he's waving his lightsaber or something) would have at least filled in this hole. Though it might seem picky to suggest that Abrams include said scene, Kylo's fate should have been clarified in more detail. As it stands, it just feels lazy.
