Star Wars: The Force Awakens Comic Con Trailer Breakdown – 46 Things You Need To See

This shot definitely captures one of the most intriguing parts of the trailer, as the grainy footage captured by "Colin" (either a camera, a camera man or a console) shows two troopers of a kind that haven't yet been seen yet.

The red and black clad troopers could well be new members of the Empire, affiliated to Captain Phasma directly (the colour scheme is telling) but it would seem a fairly radical departure for them to suddenly have open faced headwear. Perhaps then they're just beefed up ship security, a level down from stormtroopers in terms of equipment?

Or even more boldly, perhaps they could be Rebel forces - the Resistance having finally realised that some sort of armour might be useful in fighting heavily armed and reinforced troopers...
