Star Wars: The High Republic - Everything We Know So Far
7. Jedi Knights Of The Round Table
No one single character or group will be the central focus of the High Republic.
These stories will be told by Jedi, smugglers, bounty hunters, and Nerf herders alike, populating the galaxy with all manner of scum and villainy.
The Jedi, however, seem to be the focus of the marketing thus far.
They are at the height of their power and influence, patrolling the galaxy and sowing the seeds of peace believing their most diabolical enemy, the Sith, extinct.
The Jedi of this time have been described as sharing many traits with Arthurian Knights of old, painting a picture of a robust, powerful order in service of a strong Republic.
One of the most intriguing new characters to debut in the Light of the Jedi novel is Wookie Jedi Burryaga Agaburry, described by writer Charles Soule as a "sensitive" soul.
There has been much fanfare over the inclusion of what many believe to be the first example of a Wookie Jedi, but more astute Star Wars fans will point to the likes of Lowbacca and Master Tyvokka to dispel this prevailing myth.
Alongside Burryaga, we also have confirmation of Jedi Knights Avar Kriss and Jedi Keeve Trennis, as well as Padawans named Reath Silas and Imri.
