1. It's A Fitting Send-Off For Carrie Fisher
And finally, the biggest question for many fans involves how the film deals with the untimely death of Carrie Fisher late last year.
Even though Fisher completed filming her role before passing away, fans speculated that Leia may still be killed during the film to conveniently write her out, especially as the trailers seemed to hint at Kylo Ren blowing her to smithereens.
Know that whatever becomes of Leia in the film, it is a fascinating and substantial final role for the acting icon, a bittersweet send-off that that will nevertheless remind viewers how warmly tenacious Fisher was.
There are certainly aspects of the character which remain up in the air ahead of Episode IX, but fans can relax knowing that Johnson dealt with the scenario in a tasteful and respectful way. There's no CGI Leia here.
