Star Wars: The Last Jedi - Every Deleted Scene Ranked From Worst To Best

10. Paige's Gun Jams

As the title implies, this short clip gives us more of Paige Tico in action, showing the doomed heroine struggling to fire her gun at a couple of incoming First Order TIE Fighters.

The opening bombing run is well-structured - and it works - because it keeps the focus on the Resistance's effort to destroy the First Order Dreadnought. Cutting away to a mini-battle like this would mess up that focus and disrupt the flow of the entire sequence.

Once again, this is just unnecessary (you're going to hear that a lot in this list, so brace yourself!). We learn everything we need to know about Paige from her introduction in the final cut; she's scrappy, determined, and her necklace is very, very important to her.

This beat wasn't needed, and Johnson definitely made the right call here.

He has been writing and video editing for 10+ years, and first got a taste for content creation after making his own Doctor Who trailers and uploading them to YouTube (they're admittedly a bit rusty by today's standards). If you need someone to recite every Doctor Who episode in order or to tell you about the making of 1988's Remembrance of the Daleks, Danny is the person to ask.
