Stargate SG-1 Cast: Where Are They Now?

6. Ben Browder

Stargate Cam Mitchell
MGM

Browder joined Stargate SG-1 for its ninth and tenth seasons, taking over the role of commander of SG-1 from Jack O'Neill. He was similar in many ways to O'Neill, with a dry wit and comedy stylings, though he was younger, more inexperienced and somewhat quicker to anger.

Throughout his run, he had the unenviable job of replacing O'Neill while establishing himself as a character to root for, though he pulled this off completely. His acting chops from Farscape (along with Claudia Black) helped enormously, and the episode of Stargate, 200, parodied their time on that show perfectly.

Since completing his run on Stargate, his CV has been somewhat quiet, though he appeared in a guest spot on Doctor Who in the episode A Town Called Mercy, and has appeared on both CSI and Criminal Minds. He has two childen with his wife, Fracesca Buller, who also appeared on Farscape.
