Stargate SG-1 Cast: Where Are They Now?

16. Erick Avari

Stargate Kasuf
MGM

Erick Avari is one of only two actors from the Stargate 1994 film to reprise his role in SG-1, the other being Alexis Cruz as Skaara. He appeared as Kasuf, Daniel Jackson's father-in-law and the leader of the Abydonians - the first race that the SGC encountered on their travels through the Gate.

Avari is a prolific actor who continues to act to this day, having appeared in SeaQuest, Lois & Clark, Murder She Wrote, Babylon 5 and Star Trek(s) The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine and Enterprise.

He was due to reprise his role of Kasuf in the sixth season of SG-1, but was unable to do so as he was acting in Dragnet at the time.

He appeared in Independence Day and The Mummy, though most recently he would be known for his role in The Chosen, as Nicodemus.
