Steven Spielberg: EVERY Movie Ranked Worst To Best
5. Jurassic Park (1993)
The first Jurassic Park will never be surpassed by its many sequels. Based on the novel by Michael Crichton, who penned the script, Jurassic Park is one of the most awe-inspiring films ever made.
With its themes of creationism and morality guiding the survival story running through it, it's at once a solid slice of action and a stunning sci-fi flick that asks some pretty big questions about science.
It was also a pioneer of Hollywood's improving special effects, and though critics often point to the film's lack of characterisation as a major let-down, such complaints are kind of missing the point about just how wonderful and jaw-dropping the scenery and themes actually are.
Jurassic Park is a timeless classic, one of Spielberg's biggest achievements, and it's bound to watched, remembered and loved for generations to come.
