Suicide Squad: 10 Characters Who Could Steal The Show

5. Scott Eastwood€™s Mystery Character

Scott Eastwood€™s character is one that we€™ve literally barely seen. A few seconds in the trailers identify him as another army employee, but surely Scott Eastwood is too big a star these days to take a minor bit-part in the background of a movie? There must be more to this character. The most popular theory is that he€™s Nightwing AKA Dick Grayson, AKA a former Robin, which means he will have had a shared history with Ben Affleck's Batman. Some think that he€™s gone undercover €“ either on Bats€™ orders or of his own volition €“ to keep an eye on this legion of evildoers and take them out if they step out of line. This certainly feels plausible. Eastwood is used to larger roles that €˜random army guy€™ these days, and he€™s undeniable got the jawline to play a superhero. Maybe he is Nightwing, then, and this role in Suicide Squad will be DC€™s way of teeing him up for a standalone film or a supporting role in a Batman movie. If this turns out to be the case, it€™ll be a revelation of internet-breaking proportions, especially if the reveal is handled well and Eastwood€™s Nightwing becomes the standout character of the movie. Only time will tell, of course.
