Suicide Squad: 10 Major New Plot Hints From The Blitz Trailer

1. Deadshot Has To Coax Diablo Into Using His Powers

Another interesting revelation concerns Diablo, the fire-inclined member of Task Force X.

It's already been alluded to that Diablo is going to be the most ashamed of his previous crimes, which links nicely to the comic book incarnation of his character, a guy who vowed never to touch fire again after a horrific incident left tons of innocent people dead.

Going by the extended scene towards the end of the trailer, it appears that Diablo will spend a portion of the movie refusing to use his abilities as a result of his tortured past, but will eventually be persuaded by Will Smith's Deadshot.

It's great to see the side characters getting proper arcs, but also gratifying to know that they won't necessarily be treated too seriously; the whole thing ends with Deadshot delivering the comical line: "I was just trying to get you there... no hard feelings, right, we good?"
