Suicide Squad: 12 Last Minute Concerns You Won't Admit
9. They've Already Spoiled Way Too Much
If you've been paying attention to the Suicide Squad promotional material (and you should have been, because the first two trailers were excellent and pulled everyone in for the rest), then you've already seen a massive amount about the film.
You've probably already seen the first death, you've seen who the Joker tortures thanks to the Comic Con trailer, you've seen how the Enchantress looks, how the chopper comes down, Batman's cameo, what the big bad looks like... At a certain point, teasing too much just robs the final product of any actual impact.
Up until Comic Con, the trailers were doing well, but it's almost like someone in the marketing team at every studio now thinks that the only way to advertise now is to give everything away. It's ludicrous and if there aren't any more major revelations in the film, it's going to be a massive let-down.
