Suicide Squad 2: 10 Things That Will Make It Awesome
2. A Bigger Role For Boomerang
One of the biggest surprises that came out of Suicide Squad was Jai Courtney's Boomerang. He represented everything that the entire movie should have been; he was darkly funny, violent and he actually seemed like a dangerous criminal, where some of the other squad members felt too goody-goody.
Sadly, in comparison to Harley, Deadshot and El Diablo, he wasn't really given much to do. Yes, he was funny and he added a lot of levity to proceedings, but we didn't get to spend as much time with him as we should. Wouldn't a bigger role for one of the best elements of the first film only serve to make the sequel better?
Hopefully, the laughs that he brought - his line to El Diablo about fire and his repeated attempts to woo Katana, to name a few - continue, and he gets a bit more to do than just being the comic relief. And who knows, given Jai Courtney's ability to star in every major blockbuster on the planet, Boomerang could even spin off into his own movie...
