6. Will Smith - Deadshot

Whether you like it or not, Will Smith still has huge star power (which is sort of why his casting in the first movie was so strange) and he's the kind of name you'd probably like to see continue in the franchise. Especially if you're James Gunn.

Gunn has proved himself a great director and Smith IS a truly gifted actor when he has the right guidance (which he didn't on Suicide Squad) and the idea of removing him from Deadshot simply for a clean slate is just not a smart move. Particularly since Deadshot still had good presence and was the real hero of the piece, even when he was lumbered with some of the worst lines of any film ever.

Even though he didn't return for the Independence Day sequel (a very smart move), you'd like to think that he sees this as unfinished business that he needs to deliver on. And the prospect of lining up with Gunn has got to be a draw for him.
