Suicide Squad: 25 Biggest Questions Left By The Dumbest DCEU Movie Yet

19. Why Was Boomerang Delivered From Australia?

We're told in his set-up vignette that Boomerang robbed every bank in Australia (there's a statement you'd only get in a comic book movie), before moving to America where he fell foul of Flash, his original in-comics antagonist. The implication is that he goes to Belle Reve, although there's nothing to actually suggest that - all the scenes of him in his cell from the trailers come from the end of the film.

The next we see of him, he's in an postal bag that according to the marking has been shipped from Australia. So, he was sent back to Oz, despite staying in the US at the end of the film? Or was transported from Belle Reve in a fittingly sadistic fashion? Speaking of which, how is the postal service a legitimate way to deliver a supervillain?

Most likely, the original plan was to have him brought in from Australia, but the Flash cameo forced things to be re-cut.
