When Enchantress goes rogue, Waller immediately does the most sensible thing in the entire movie - stabs the heart and weakens her. However, after that point she never thinks to do that again (it's almost like she know she's in movie land, where things work the third time or not at all), and instead sends in a bunch of highly untrained psychopaths.

At no point in the next 24 hours does it cross Waller's mind to destroy the heart, bringing Enchantress down. This could be explained out of fear of losing a metahuman asset, but don't you think by now it's pretty clear she's beyond being controlled? And even if she was trying to salvage something from this disaster, why not poke it a few times to weaken her?
