2. Jai Courtney Is Literally The Best
There is a public perception of Jai Courtney that is as tragically spot-on as it is mean sounding: he's not very good in the majority of things he's been in. For some reason most of his higher profile work seems to have missed the point that he's actually capable of charisma.
Instead he's usually lumbered with big muscular lummoxes, and no scope for humour (there was some awkardness in Terminator Genisys, but it wasn't wholly successful). That now looks like an unfair oversight that has made him look far less talented than he is, because he's easily the stand-out performer in Suicide Squad.
Even with heinous material to work with (and rumour has it, it was a lot worse before the dramatic cuts), he's great, and he absolutely gets around the fact that he has roughly no reason to be in the Squad through sheer charming power of performance.
