23. Isn't That The Tattoo Man?
The casting of Common - a frequently linked name to the Green Lantern movie projects - suggested that he'd have a fairly big role in the film. Then when we saw images of him from the set, it seemed confirmed that he was playing a familiar DC villain: the Tattoo Man.
Even his name - Monster T - seemed to be an allusion to the character.
And even more strangely, his tattoos are clearly designed in homage to the character, including the snake motif on his head and the identical facial tattoos. And yet we got no sign of the original character's powers (the ability to bring his tattoos to life), which 100% would have been better than the bloody Enchantress/Incubus team-up from hell we actually got.
