Suicide Squad: 5 Ups & 5 Downs From Trailer 2
2. The Spoilers

They've obviously avoided a Batman v Superman situation where we all end up knowing the entire film before it's even released, but there are a couple of needless spoilers in both trailers. In the first, the shot of Harley and the Joker in the vat was a cheap reveal that robs a great moment of its impact on release.
And the shot of Slipknot "escaping" right at the start of the mission has pretty much confirmed his fate in the wake of heavy hints that he was going to be killed early. He might not, but clearly the addition of the voice-over and action shot of him apparently flying off to freedom is a little too much.
Then there's the shot of Batman fishing Harley Quinn out of the river: obviously we know nothing bad is going to happen, but we've just been given the end of one of the most thrilling set-pieces in the film. It's all just a bit needless.
