So far, the majority of the scuttlebutt surrounding Suicide Squad has had nothing to do with the plot, or how exactly its all going to slot into this DC Cinematic Universe Warner Bros are in the process of constructing: its been about the cast. According to the grapevine, the film is going to feature Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor (a role hes also due to play in Batman v Superman), and the filmmakers are going after a whole host of actors of a similar calibre to play some more of their classic stable of characters. So far rumoured to been in talks to appear in Suicide Squad include Will Smith (in an unspecified part; considering he turned down Django due to the violent content, well), Tom Hardy, Ryan Gosling, the Wolf Of Wall Streets Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, and the most recent big news has pegged recent Oscar winner Jared Leto, who might just be poised to take over the role of The Joker. Thats a pretty dazzling array of stars right there.
