Super Bowl 2019: 9 Major Movie Trailers To Expect (& 3 Not To)

2. Anything From Sony Or Warner Bros

The first teaser trailer for Spider-Man: Far From Home only dropped a couple of weeks ago, so there's no real need for anything during the game, despite some rumblings of one a little while ago.

In fact, audiences shouldn't go expecting anything at all from Sony, as it's been confirmed that the studio is sitting out the Super Bowl completely, much like they did last year too. Their other big releases include Brightburn and Men In Black International, which both release in the summer, but obviously they feel they'd benefit from solo slots rather than trying to compete with some of the bigger names here.

With their roster of DC heroes, there's often an expectation that Warner Bros will have a presence during the game - and that's amplified since we've been teased a new Shazam! trailer for a while now.

However, the studio hasn't debuted anything at the Super Bowl since way back in 2006, so it'd be strange from them to suddenly buck that trend now. Deadline back this up, with their report on the trailers saying they are once again expected to sit the game out.
