Super Bowl 2019 Trailers: 10 Things We Learned
4. Jordan Peele's "Us" Remains Fantastically Mysterious
Shortly before the Super Bowl, Jordan Peele dropped a new trailer for next month's highly anticipated horror film Us, and it proved that Peele truly is committed to playing things close to his chest until it hits cinemas.
Shorter than the first trailer and scarcely elaborating on what we saw in it, this teaser continues to lean into the Nightmare on Elm Street-esque imagery while providing refreshingly little context for what we're seeing.
Peele has insisted that the film is more of a straight horror compared to the satirical overtones of Get Out, and with the aggressively creepy focus on pulse-quickening set-pieces, the marketing appears to reflect that.
Fingers are now crossed that Universal doesn't get twitchy and give anything else away before it drops on March 22.
