3. There Will Be A Football Game
Admittedly it's not the most enlightening thing we've gleamed about the upcoming film but it is indeed a first glimpse into what's to come and so naturally, we're intrigued. A naughty extra on the set filmed the cast and crew in a scene where Gotham City University, wearing black and gold and Metropolis State University, wearing white and red, play against each other. At least we can ascertain that Gotham City will be referred to directly as part of the Superman world, though thoughts of its geographical location in relation to Metropolis are probably best discussed on a dedicated fan page, as I could see it being lengthy and ultimately pointless. The football game may sound like a piece of minutiae, but there was quite a memorable one in The Dark Knight Rises which turned out to be a major set piece. More of the same, please?
