13. Freakier Friday
Though Freaky Friday fans had spent a full 20 years campaigning for a follow-up, much like The Devil Wears Prada 2 there was still every possibility it would fall far short of its predecessor despite having the O.G. cast fully onboard.
Few would've been hugely surprised if Freakier Friday were a mere half-baked cash-in, especially with the big question mark that is Lindsay Lohan - namely her ability to perform at the blockbuster level for the first time in almost two full decades.
But Freakier Friday was a frothy hoot, largely thanks to the committed work from Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis and its amusingly unhinged, very extra take on the original's body-swap premise.
The first film is still king of course, but as dew-eyed, nostalgia-soaked comedy sequels go, this is a rock solid outing that leaves fans hopeful we might actually get Freakiest Friday before too long.
