Remember Miles Dyson, the guy who was revealed to be responsible for the whole Skynet debacle in Terminator 2: Judgment Day? Well, his son, Danny Dyson, is set to be the fourth and final "lead" character in the upcoming Terminator: Genesis, and will be played by actor Dayo Okeniyi, who you'll probably best remember as Thresh from the Hunger Games franchise. Whether or not Miles will be a character - or how - depends on the approach that the filmmakers choose: it's unknown how Genesis will connect with the franchise's already established mythology. So what do we know about Danny Dyson? Not much, expect that he's going to be a "Steve Jobs type genius," apparently - either as a result of his father's teachings and influence or as a standalone character, the next in a long line of technological wizkid characters who seem to be lighting up cinema screens these days. Okeniyi is yet to prove his acting chops in a big way yet, so here's hoping that his casting as Danny Dyson will grant him with an opportunity to show off his skills - presumably as he's chased down and antagonised by the very robots he helps to create.
