6. An Intern Asks Danny Dyson If He "Backed Up" Genisys

It's easy to forget in the climactic scene of the film, but all that stuff that was getting blown up actually belonged to someone. Danny Dyson, son of Terminator 2's Miles Dyson, is the CEO of Cyberdyne in this reality, and you do not envy the Personal Assistant who has to tell him why the morning meeting is cancelled.

Let's just put this in perspective. The final scene in Terminator Genisys - whilst saving humanity from a futile war with the machines - takes Miles Dyson from being one of the most powerful people on the entire planet, to someone who will spend every spare minute of their remaining adult life listening to their insurance company's hold music.

This, in theory, is dreadful news for him. Or at least it will be until one doting intern, who has been told by their mother to ask loads of questions during their placement (because that's all your parents' generation think is necessary to get a decent job) sheepishly inquires as to "I dunno, like, did you not back it up anywhere?".

"Oh, right, yeah, that's a thought", quips Dyson as he gently removes the pistol from his mouth. "All the design data and schematics are shared to literally every device I own. I've still got more money than god so it won't be too much of a hassle doing it all again. Cheers mate!"
