Terminator Genisys: 18 Stupidest Moments In 2015's Dumbest Movie

The fact that Terminator Genisys has been in production for almost ten thousand years or so shows only very obviously at one point. When Genisys is revealed to be a next generation operating system, it sort of fits with the agenda to scold everyone for looking at their phones too much.

Unfortunately, that might have dated the film horribly in two years were it not for the fact that Genisys is clearly set in a world before Apple and the iCloud where everyone uses Android phones that for some reason have no device connectivity.

So apparently the biggest, most exciting technological advancement in the history of the world in 2017 is the ability for your phone to talk to your tablet and other devices. Sort of like a futuristic film coming up with the invention of the motorcar or a cure for shingles.
