6. Two Villains Is Fine, Just Not Two Origin Stories
Talking of Spider Man 3, this is what this planned sequel is getting compared to. Why? Because it has more than one villain. The two that Spidey has to worry about are the high voltage villain Electro (played by Oscar Winner Jamie Foxx) and the stupid but strong Rhino (played by Oscar nominated actor Paul Giamatti). Now Spider Man 3 did not fail because it had more than one villain, it failed because it tried to cram two origin stories with the added love triangle/complication with Peter, Harry and MJ. The Dark Knight had two villains, but only really focused on one villain's origin story, which was Harvey Dent's. Now, Electro is clearly the main villain of The Amazing Spider Man 2, so it is more likely his origin story we are going to see. If they want to explain something about The Rhino make it a 5-6 minute long flashback of Paul Giamatti going through some tests and becoming the horn headed villain. Don't try make Rhino the same kind of sympathetic character like they are planning with Electro, it will simply slow the movie down, that's what Spider Man 3 did.
