The Avengers Vs. Avengers: Infinity War - Which Is Better?
8. Stan Lee's Cameo
What would a Marvel movie be without a Stan Lee cameo? The comic book legend appeared in a TV interview at the end of The Avengers ("Superheros in New York? Give me a break"), and even shot a scene opposite Cap that was eventually deleted (so we can't count it, sadly). It's a cute little moment but nothing more.
In Infinity War, Lee plays the bus driver taking Peter Parker (Tom Holland) and Ned to school, who upon witnessing the Black Order ship arriving in New York City says, "What’s the matter with you kids? You never seen a spaceship before?"
Winner: Neither cameo is one for the ages, in fairness, but The Avengers wins out due to the amusing irony of Lee's line about superheroes in New York, whereas his Infinity War cameo felt decidedly more perfunctory and disposable.
