The Community Movie: 10 Things We Want To See
5. The Involvement Of Cool Abed Films
If you're expecting the Community movie not to feature elaborate meta-humour and fourth-wall-breaking antics, you've clearly walked into the wrong cinema screen - or, more realistically, subscribed to the wrong streaming service. This film is likely to be brimming with self-referential treatment, and there's one thing that should come with that.
Abed Nadir was the one character who seemed to be almost fully aware that he was in a TV show. He even coined the infamous "six seasons and a movie" gag, which arguably led to this film happening in the first place. This is why he's bound to reference the fact that Greendale is suddenly getting the feature-length treatment and could even have a part to play in it.
The fictional production company Cool Abed Films has to be involved somehow, perhaps making some sort of film within a film that plays into the mainline narrative. The series ended with Abed venturing off to become a production assistant on a TV show, so it would be awesome to see that his production company has taken off in the years since then.
Seeing this happen would be "cool, cool cool cool".
