7. Jodelle Ferland

One of the least recognisable names on this list is Canadian Jodelle Ferland, an eighteen year-old who has nevertheless built up a reasonable-sized filmography since her debut at the age of six in 2000. Most of its entries, however, are minor and supporting turns in a series of television films and series, with the most notable being the Stephen King-penned miniseries adaptation of Lars von Triers Kingdom Hospital in 2004. Silent Hill and a role in a Uwe Boll film, of all things, followed in 2007 before a part in the third Twilight film, Eclipse, coincided with her consideration for the Katniss role. Though she was unsuccessful, Ferlands career prospects have improved somewhat with roles in both Paranorman and the Cabin In The Woods, though a part in a fifth Home Alone film might suggest otherwise.
