The Hunger Games: 12 Actresses Who Could Have Been Katniss Everdeen

6. Kaya Scodelario

url-5 The only British name on this list is one best known for a risqué role, in comparison to the clean-cut filmographies of many of her counterparts €“ Kaya Scodelario. Scodelario, real name Kaya Humphrey, first came to prominence in the role of Effy Stonem on Skins, the E4 teen show featuring graphic portrayals of sex and drug use. Ironically, her older brother on the show, Nicholas Hoult, would go on to co-star with Jennifer Lawrence in X-Men: First Class, with the two allegedly becoming an item in the process. Supporting roles in Moon and Clash Of The Titans followed her departure from Skins after four series, though notable roles have been somewhat sparse since then. The now twenty-one year old was one of the early frontrunners for the Katniss role, having been sent a script early on the film€™s development. Ultimately though, her audition was passed over, and 2013 will see her return to Skins once more in the show€™s seventh and final series.
