12. Don't Starve

Rory's room is filled with awesome toys and action figures - including a Pikachu doll! - but the most telling thing in his room is a video game: Don't Starve, which is shown briefly on his computer monitor when Quinn enters the room later in the film.

Don't Starve is an especially canny choice of video game as it's a survival game focused on a scientist who is plunged into a dark, unknown world and has to stay alive as long as possible. Doesn't that sound kinda familiar?

Somewhat bizarrely, Quinn then complains to his ex-wife about letting Rory play "first-person shooter games", despite Don't Starve being absolutely nothing of the sort.
