6. When Is An Electric Fence Not An Electric Fence?

Picking out little niggles is the thing that gets this column the most amount of grief when it comes to disgruntled commenters (hi guys, thanks for reading), but when it's so obvious it draws you out of the movie, it's definitely worth mentioning.

In the film's finale when Traeger's men have found the downed Predator ship (thanks to Rory being able to read alien maps because of his autism) we see them setting up camp and building up their defences, just in case. Weirdly, this includes one soldier walking up to a fence that has a sign reading "danger: electrified" and hooking it up using jump leads to a generator to electrify it.

In other words, he electrifies an already perfectly functional electrical fence. Presumably because someone told him to "look busy" while the boss was on the warpath.
