The Single Biggest Mistake Every James Bond Film Has Made

5. Die Another Day - Being Far Too OTT

The Man With The Golden Gun Ending
MGM

The most hated James Bond film of all time, Die Another Day is a cautionary tale of what happens when an action film goes too far into ridiculous territory.

With terrible CGI, ridiculously OTT action and a painfully dumb story (invisible cars, anyone?) Die Another Day is one of the stupidest action films you'll ever see and it genuinely makes Fast and Furious Five look like a documentary. Sure, this is a franchise not exactly known for realism, but Die Another Day becomes so ludicrous and so unbelievable that it borders on science-fiction and never feels like a James Bond film at all.

To make matters worse, the movie isn't even exciting in any way. There's no suspense due to how over-done the film is and as it is so impossible to take this movie seriously, it's very hard to become invested in it in any way, making this an utterly soulless viewing experience.
