The Single Biggest Mistake Every James Bond Film Has Made

4. Casino Royale: Overlength

The Man With The Golden Gun Ending
MGM

Casino Royale is an unquestionably great film and one of the best reboots of recent times. Thanks to Daniel Craig's flawless performance, brilliant action sequences and a surprisingly soulful tone, this is a noughties action classic for sure.

The only real issue is that it goes on for a bit too long. The film's pace is more or less fine up until its infamous and incredible torture scene, but the third act feels over-extended and it takes too long to get to the finale in Venice.

It's still one of the best James Bond films, but it could've used a bit more editing down.
