5. The Treatment Of The Warriors Three - Thor: Ragnarok

Thor: Ragnarok turned around the God of Thunder’s franchise like no other in the MCU. After The Dark World, fans and even Chris Hemsworth himself were down on the character, until Taika Waititi arrived to completely reinvent the franchise.

Just about everything in the third movie was an improvement from the second, from the story, to the villain, the tone and style, and of course the main character himself. However, there were several key characters from the previous Thor movies that were done incredibly dirty.

The Warriors Three had been Thor’s best friends and battle companions for countless years, but when Hela arrived on Asgard she immediately killed Volstagg and Fandral with little effort or fanfare. Hogun lasted slightly longer, but was still struck down unceremoniously. Thor wasn’t even shown to mourn them.

Yes, the Warriors Three deserved better than what they were given in Ragnarok, but at least they made an appearance at all. That’s more than you could say for Lady Sif. It’s almost as if Taika Waititi just forgot the character existed at all.
